Operation Christmas Child

What is better than packing a shoebox that will eventually rest in the hands of a child who will get nothing else for Christmas?  Each year, Faith joins hundreds of thousands of churches across this nation who pack shoeboxes so children worldwide can hear the Gospel.  “The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.”  If you would like to know more about Operation Christmas Child click here.  If you are interested in more information about you can help, please contact Dawn Cordova via email or cell at 2403449266.

Mission of Mercy

Mission of Mercy is a pillar of free healthcare in the Frederick community.  FBC has the incredible privilege of working with this ministry twice a month to meet the needs of those who cannot afford health care in our community.  Their mission is to restore dignity, “Healing through Love” by providing free healthcare.  If you would like to learn more about Mission of Mercy click here.  If you would like more information about how you can help, please contact Sam Bennett.

Faith Food Drop

We are privileged to work with the Maryland Food Bank to provide boxes of food to individuals in our community every month.  This ministry is led and served by volunteers from Faith and has been an incredible help to individuals and families who need fresh vegetables and other food sources.  The Faith Food Drop always welcomes more volunteers.  If you would like more information about how you can help, please contact Kathy Sears.

CLothes CLoset

The Clothes Closet at Faith provides free clothing to all those in our community who need it.  Every article of clothing that is given away is donated by our church family and the community around us.  This ministry is led and served by volunteers and is open on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays.  Volunteers are always needed and welcome.  If you would like to know about how you can help, please contact Nancy Hawker at 3018347869.
